Set your students up for a GREAT year!

Making Social Wellbeing a Priority in Your School

Hi everyone! It’s SO nice to be back in the office after the holidays and to get stuck into 2021! While we can’t be sure how this year will pan out, we can certainly hope for the best!

I hope that you are enjoying getting to know your students, and finding a flow in your day!

I understand that first week back can be pretty hectic, but I would like to jump in and ask about the plans your school has for supporting the social wellbeing of your students this year. Do you have a particular approach towards assisting students as they navigate their way through the ups and downs of school life?

Over 11 years of working in schools, I know that there are some challenges that we can plan for. For example, it’s really normal for students to face issues within their friendships at some point during Year 4. Groups may go through changes, conflicts may materialize, and students may be unexpectedly excluded. We also know that as students start using social media they are exposed to a new set of challenges, and often need education and support in this area.

How can we help?

This is where we come in! Helping students build healthy friendships, navigate their way through communication challenges and supporting them in resolving conflicts is our priority. Our range of programs and resources are designed to equip both staff and students with ideas, skills and strategies that can be implemented on a daily basis - improving the social wellbeing of students, and the culture and feel of your school.
